Seeking God's Presence
Branden writes, "
"You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart." - Jeremiah 29:13
As human beings we are seekers by default, as Christians we seek God and not (try) the things of the world. When we pray, we often seek help from God or we pray to thank God for God's working in our life. In times of praise and worship, we seek Gods presence but we need to have faith to believe that God will draw near to us (Hebrews 11:6) as we give our adoration over to God."
Just raising our hands to God in adoration releases submission to Christ. There are so many ways in which we can draw into God's mighty presence. In the stillness, silence of the day or night, with our hearts and minds focused on God, we can meet with God. When we lift up songs of praise, these open the doors to the throne room and when we worship God, this draws us into God's throne room and we enter in.
Prayer: Lord, I thank You that I dont need an instrument to enter into Your presence. In the stillness of the night or day, Lord You are there. Meet with Lord. I seek You more and more, come and captivate my heart. I worship You Lord and I love You.
