Hi, I am Rev. Deborah Bell, the Senior Pastor of Deo Gloria Family Church in Durban, South Africa. It has always been part of our vision and heart to have a fully fledged Bible School so that the saints may be well equipped to bring an inclusive gospel to the ends of the earth.

We realized as a church that equipping the saints is the only way we could make solid disciples & solid leaders. We did not want to "re-invent the wheel", so we were looking to partner with a Bible college that has similar vision to us; and to incorporate a more extensive curriculum into our existing school which is still very young, and needs a good infrastructure. We found that partnership in the ACTS Bible Institute, a division of EMI. This is a college that has a similar heart and vision to us.

We believe that everything starts with relationships, and it was no coincidence that God linked our organisation with EMI & Glory Tabernacle, Janet Robertson, director of EMI and her partner Rev. Sandra Turnbull, Senior Pastor of Glory Tabernacle. In 2007 we began talking about our vision and bible school and by February 2008, we had our first official ACTS class held by our in house lecturers.

We really believe that God has brought us together for a greater plan, and that God is busy stirring us up as a people across the oceans and preparing and equipping us to be a warrior generation through the knowledge of the Word and the Spirit of God. This requires equipping the people of God.

Incorporating ACTS Bible Institute into our school allows us to offer an extensive curriculum to bring practical teaching and life lessons to students. More than this, the courses are not only packed with great teaching but they allow for the move of the Holy Spirit in "activating" what has been learnt. One can sense the impartation of the anointing through the teaching.

It is our hope to see God's glory manifest throughout the earth, so we share in the vision of an inclusive gospel for the world.

We are now in the process of fully integrating ACTS Africa as through DGFC. We offer a 2 year diploma in Christian Ministry, through our ACTS Bible College.

Even better, most courses are currently available online, so you can study from anywhere in the country or the world! This will soon be broadened to incorporate more live classes locally, which we will advise you of in time, once everything is in place for us to take on more live classes. No one is turned away from this school on the grounds of sexual orientation.
